Finance and Insurance Information
Dental insurance does not work the same way as health insurance, and tends to have much lower annual benefits. In fact, although dental costs have risen due to new technologies and procedures, most dental insurance plans have not raised their maximum annual benefits since the 1970's.
Can I continue to use my dental insurance?
Of course! Our office will continue to do everything we can to help you maximize your insurance benefits, including submitting all your paperwork for you. Because the office has many up-front fees for your care, including lab costs, we ask that you pay for your care at the time of the visit and we will have your insurance company reimburse you directly. We also offer payment plans if you make arrangements in advance. We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Why doesn't insurance cover many treatments?
Stetzel Dental wants you to have the best and longest lasting dental care available. Dr. Stetzel has devoted his career to caring for teeth and he is committed to keeping your teeth beautiful and healthy. Insurance companies are interested in the cheapest alternative available, and will often refuse to pay for superior treatments, regardless of what is best for you.
You are the one that will have to live with your teeth. As medical care advances and people live longer than they ever have before, healthy and long lasting teeth are more important than ever.
